Website pricing is rarely the same for everyone. Even when a service page shows a guide price — **€250** for a landing page, **€600** for a corporate website, **€900** for an online store — the final amount only appears after a short brief. In this article we explain in plain terms what drives the price and why.
Domain and hosting — separate from development
For a site to open in a browser, you need a domain (address) and hosting (space on a server). These are annual costs, not a one-off payment for design and build. For more detail, see our blog article on choosing hosting.
What is included in development cost
Below are three groups of factors. Each point is a separate section.
1. Content volume and structure
How many pages and blocks need to be built and filled.
A landing page is one page with several meaningful sections. A corporate website often means anywhere from five to dozens of pages: services, about the company, contacts, policies. An online store adds a product catalogue, product pages, cart, and checkout.
The more unique content — copy, photos, video, banners — the more time goes into preparation and placement. If you provide ready texts and images in a convenient format, the content stage is faster and costs less.
2. Functionality and integrations
This is everything a visitor can do on the site: submit an enquiry, sign up for a newsletter, pay for a product, switch language, or message you.
Typical elements:
— menu and clear navigation;
— contact and enquiry forms;
— galleries, sliders, review blocks;
— email and messenger connections;
— for a store — filters, payment, delivery, order management.
You may also need:
— multiple languages (for example via WPML);
— online payment (Stripe, PayPal and other services for your market);
— spam protection for forms;
— backups and basic technical maintenance;
— setup for Google (structure, page titles and descriptions).
We do not recommend adding everything at once. It is better to include only what your customers actually need — the site stays fast and easy to understand.
3. Design and uniqueness
A fully custom design from scratch takes more time for mockups, approvals, and build. Adapting a proven layout to your brand (colours, fonts, blocks) is quicker and more affordable for a launch.
We usually work on WordPress with a visual page editor: after launch you can change texts and photos yourself — we will show you how.
How we quote an exact price
1. You briefly describe the task — site type, examples, what matters for the business (10–15 minutes). 2. We clarify details and suggest a solution that fits your budget. 3. We fix the estimate and milestones before work starts — no hidden extras along the way.
There is no calculator on the site: different markets and scopes do not fit one button. Guide prices “from” are on the homepage and on the landing page, corporate website, and online store service pages.
Summary
Cost depends on content volume, functionality, design level, and integrations. Starting prices are the same across our service pages; the exact figure comes after a brief.
